1. Arkansas State Capitol Building

The Arkansas State Capitol Building is absolutely beautiful to see. There is a staircase from Alabama, marble from Vermont and columns from Colorado. The front doors are bronze and 10 feet tall. The Capitol reaches a height of 230 feet and was modeled after the U.S. Capitol. This is a must-see in Little Rock.

2. River Market District

This year-round, indoor area is such a fun spot to visit. With 10,000 square feet of food and unique products, you can find lots of varieties here. Make sure to leave yourself enough time to try many of the different foods!

The Big Dam Bridge is a great spot for a picnic, jog, walk and so much more. The scenic views are great during the day or night and being out on the bridge gives you a perfect view of the river!

5. River Rail Electric Streetcar

Taking a ride on the River Rail Electric Streetcar is definitely worth it! It gives you a great tour of downtown while the guide provides many facts and details and the best part is, you are riding in a historic streetcar! There are 15 stops along the route which make it the perfect first stop when you arrive in Little Rock as it will get you acquainted with the city.

6. The Arkansas River Trail

The Arkansas River Trail is an absolute dream. With 100 miles of paths taking you from downtown Little Rock in the River Market to Pinnacle Mountain along the Arkansas River, it is perfect for exploring. You can walk, run, bike and so much more!

7. Riverfront Park

Riverfront Park is right along the river in the heart of downtown Arkansas. There are sculptures to admire, a playground and a super fun water area to enjoy!

8. Little Rock Zoo

Little Rock Zoo houses 500 animals representing 200 different species, many of which are endangered so you know you are seeing some pretty cool animals and to make it even better, you can even feed and touch certain animals! This is definitely a must-do!

9. Pinnacle Mountain State Park

Pinnacle Mountain State Park offers great hikes and great views. There are many different ways you can go but if you can make it to the top of the mountain, you will be amazed!

10. William J. Clinton Presidential Center

Located on the banks of the Arkansas River, William J. Clinton Presidential Center, which opened in 2004, is a beautiful library, museum and park. You can learn a lot and find out new facts while exploring it all!
